How to Install the Load Market Tracking App for Drivers

The installation process is very simple and works the same way for both Android and iPhone devices. The driver must enable "Share Location All the Time," allow the motion sensor, and grant precise location permission. After verifying their phone number, they can accept your tracking request, and you will instantly be able to view their location on a map.

Brand Your Company via Automated Email Updates and Share Tracking Link

Elevate your trucking company's image with our tailored email updates, where you can showcase your logo, company description, service offerings, and contact information.

On the main menu, select the Branding page to create a preview of automatic email location updates and share tracking links. After uploading your logo and filling out the fields for company and service descriptions, save your entry. Next, navigate to the Billing page and choose one of the branding subscription plans. Once the branding plan is active, simply return to the Branding page and click the "Activate Branding" button to activate the service.

Schedule future trackings

Now you can schedule tracking sessions whenever it suits you with our new Future Tracking feature. Enjoy flexibility with the ability to choose any time, and track for up to 5 days (120 hours).

You can easily edit your requested dates and times. It's all about making tracking convenient and tailored to your schedule.

Automatically email BOL/POD attachments for updates

In addition to the standard feature of automated location updates at intervals of 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, or 4 hours, you now have the option to enable automatic sending of BOL or POD to designated email addresses for updates.

Attachments will be promptly sent upon the driver's upload through the application.

For those who choose not to activate this option, attachments will exclusively be forwarded to the email address of the tracking creator.

Tracking App for Drivers (video tutorial)

The application is completely free for drivers and is available for both iPhone and Android phones.

The installation process is very simple and is available in three languages: English, Spanish, and Russian.

After accepting the terms and verifying the driver's account, they will be able to see your tracking request, and tracking begins as soon as they click accept.

Tracking Statuses

Pending instalation - Your tracking request has been created successfully. However, the driver doesn't have the Load Market Tracking App installed. They'll receive a text with a download link. If tracking isn't activated in 10 minutes, we'll send 2 more reminders. Once the app is installed, the status will change to "Pending driver's approval."

Pending driver's approval - The driver installed the Load Market Tracking app on their phone. Tracking will begin as soon as the driver approves your request.
This makes it easy to start tracking quickly and keep an eye on things in real-time for better efficiency.

Active - The tracking allows tracking allows real-time monitoring, providing details like driving speed and current location on Google Maps.

Active (Power save) - The driver activated power-save mode on the phone. In most cases, tracking continues effectively, but there's a chance the device may stop GPS location sharing to save battery.

Not moving - The driver's location has remained unchanged for the past 10 min.

Paused by the driver - The driver has temporarily paused tracking. If you require the driver to resume tracking, they simply need to open the Load Market Tracking app and click on the green "Start Tracking" button.

Driver's device settings issue - The driver disabled the option to share  location AT ALL TIMES. To ensure active tracking, the driver needs to go to the PHONE SETTINGS, and ENABLE location sharing "ALWAYS" specifically for the Load Market Tracking app, and subsequently open the Load Market Tracking app to register the update.

Rejected by the driver - The driver rejected your tracking requst.

The driver uninstalled the app - In order to accept a tracking request, the driver must reinstall the app on their phone and log in to their profile.

Set up the Tracking Platform icon on your phone's Home Screen.

Iphone users

1. Open Safari on your phone

2. Log in to your account on app.load-market.com

3. At the bottom of the screen, locate the share icon

4. Scroll down until you find the option "Add to Home Screen"

5. Tap on 'Add,' and a shortcut icon will be added to your phone's home screen.

6. Once added, you'll find a shortcut icon on your device's home screen. This allows you to easily access all the features available on your computer, such as creating new tracking requests and checking for updates.

Android users

1. Open Google Chrome on your phone

2. Log in to your account on app.load-market.com

3. Click three dots (settings) and select Add to Home Screen button

4. Tap on 'Add,' and a shortcut icon will be added to your phone's home screen.

5. Once added, you'll find a shortcut icon on your device's home screen. This allows you to easily access all the features available on your computer, such as creating new tracking requests and checking for updates.

Set up sub-user accounts for your co-workers

1. Click on your profile icon and select "+ Add User".

2. Enter the new user's email address and select their role.

* Under the Admin account, you have the flexibility to create an unlimited number of sub-user accounts, each assigned specific roles. Here are the descriptions of the available roles:

Broker: This role is available for both broker and broker/carrier accounts. Brokers have access solely to the tracking page.

Dispatcher: This role is available for carrier accounts. Dispatchers have access exclusively to the tracking page.

Manager:
Has access to the tracking page.
Can create sub-user accounts.
Has access to the billing usage page.

Admin:
Has full access to the billing page, billing usage page, and subscription plans page.
Can create sub-user accounts.
Has access to the tracking page.

How Does LM Tracking Work?

1. Fill out the tracking request form and then click "Send Request."  

2. The driver will receive a text message containing a link for installing the application. If installation does not occur within 12 minutes, a reminder message will be sent. Should the application not be installed even after an additional 12 minutes, another text message will emphasize the necessity of installing the application.

3. The tracking will start as soon as the driver accepts the tracking request.
